Acid Modification of the Unsupported NiMo Catalysts by Y-Zeolite Nanoclusters
Unsupported NiMo catalyst has high hydrogenation activity due to its high active site distribution. However, low specific surface area and pore distribution greatly limit the efficient utilization of the active components. The Y-zeolite nanoclusters were

Hydrocracking of long paraffins over Pt-Pd/WO3-ZrO2 in the presence of sulfur and aromatic impurities [PDF]
The hydrocracking of long paraffins in the presence of sulfur and aromatic impurities using Pt–Pd/WO3–ZrO2 was assessed. The catalysts were tested for n-hexadecane hydrocraking in the presence and absence of several poisons, benzothiophene, quinolein ...

Studies on the Hydrodesulfurization(II)
Sulfurizatioin of Ni and NiS0.5 with some sulfur compounds and reduction of NiS0.8 with hydrogen have been studied kinetically.Sulfurization rate of NiS0.5 with H2S was the 0.86th order with respect to H2S concentration and nearly independent of temperature.

Fluidized bed desulfurization [PDF]
High sulfur content carbonaceous material, such as coal is desulfurized by continuous fluidized suspension in a reactor with chlorine gas, inert dechlorinating gas and hydrogen gas. A source of chlorine gas, a source of inert gas and a source of hydrogen

Desulfurization in the FCC riser is achieved by modifying zeolite catalysts with La3+ ions, promoting H2S formation from thiophenic compounds while suppressing secondary reactions. This approach enhances gasoline quality by increasing selectivity for H2S and enabling efficient condensation and alkylation, supporting cleaner fuel production and ...

Hydrodesulfurization of chlorinized coal [PDF]
A method of desulfurization is described in which high sulfur coals are desulfurized by low temperature chlorinolysis of coal in liquid media, preferably water, followed by hydrodesulfurization at a temperature above 500 C.

Hydrodesulfurization of Thiophene over Ni‐Doped MoS2‐Supported Mesoporous Silica
The catalytic conversion of thiophene to paraffinic hydrocarbons is presented using mesoporous SBA‐15‐supported MoS2 and NiMoS2 catalysts. Few‐layer MoS2 nanosheets decorate the surface and pore walls, while Ni incorporation enhances hydrogen activation and promotes NiMoS phases.
