The Shape-velocity Alignment of Satellites Forged by Tidal Locking and Dynamical Friction
Utilizing the TNG50 simulation, we study two types of alignments for satellites/subhalos: (1) the alignment of their major axes with the galactocentric radial directions (radial alignment), and (2) with the motion directions (orbital alignment).

Hydrodynamics of Diffusion in Lipid Membrane Simulations [PDF]
By performing molecular dynamics simulations with up to 132 million coarse-grained particles in half-micron sized boxes, we show that hydrodynamics quantitatively explains the finite-size effects on diffusion of lipids, proteins, and carbon nanotubes in membranes.

Scalability of Hydrodynamic Simulations
Many hydrodynamic processes can be studied in a way that is scalable over a vastly relevant physical parameter space. We systematically examine this scalability, which has so far only briefly discussed in astrophysical literature. We show how the scalability is limited by various constraints imposed by physical processes and initial conditions.

Bioorthogonal chemistry was applied to intracellularly photoactivate Doxorubicin (Dox) using gold nanostars (AuNSt) and near‐infrared (NIR) light. Two prodrugs were used: one photoactivatable, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl carbamate (proDox1) and another photolabile, masked with 2‐nitrobenzyl diol (proDox2), which was attached to the AuNSt surface.

Abstract —A simulation model to predict the dynamic behavior of large aggregates in flows was developed, in which the effective particle surface exposed to the flow was evaluated and the reduction of fluid velocity due to neighboring particles was taken into account.
