Comparison of ion cyclotron wall conditioning discharges in hydrogen and helium in JET
This paper explores the plasma parameters of helium and hydrogen Ion Cyclotron Wall Conditioning (ICWC) discharges performed in JET as part of a He/H fuelling changeover experiment. The conducted study shows that plasma with a higher density is formed in

Nano‐Patterned CuO Nanowire Nanogap Hydrogen Gas Sensor with Voids
Sub‐5‐ppb hydrogen (H2) detection and sub‐10‐s response and recovery times are achieved based on nano‐patterned polycrystalline CuO nanowires nanogap gas sensors with voids using electron‐beam lithography and unique annealing processes. Pre‐H2 annealing, void‐generating oxidation, and downscaled nanogap electrodes are key to improving the sensing ...

Generation of hydrogen ionic plasma superimposed with positive ion beam
In this study, a hydrogen ionic plasma with relatively low residual fractional electron concentration (ne/n+ ∼ 10−2) is generated using an aluminum plasma grid for the production of negative hydrogen ions and a control grid for negative ion extraction ...

THE HYDROGEN ION CONCENTRATION OF JOINT EXUDATES IN RHEUMATIC FEVER AND OTHER FORMS OF ARTHRITIS
1. The hydrogen ion concentration of joint exudates aspirated from patients ill with acute rheumatic fever, arthritis of undetermined origin, and bacterial arthritis was determined. The hydrogen ion concentrations of the joint exudates from patients with

In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Interfacial tension and hydrogen-ion concentration [PDF]
(1) Long chain carboxylic acids dissolved in benzene show regular changes in interfacial tension against aqueous "buffered" solutions as the hydrion concentration of these is altered. A fall in interfacial tension starts at p h 5·5 and extends over the range of 4·0 p h
