Deep Eutectic Polymer Electrolyte with Competitive Hydrogen‐Bonding Coordination for High‐Voltage Nickel‐rich Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To stabilize high‐voltage Li||NCM811 batteries, we develop an in situ polymerized deep‐eutectic electrolyte (p‐DEPE) featuring competitive hydrogen‐bonding coordination. This design weakens Ni4+ adsorption, suppresses oxygen release, and enhances interfacial stability.

Research Progress of Hydrogen/Ammonia Gas Turbine Combustion Chambers [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences
Ammonia/hydrogen mixed fuel is important for the deep decarbonization of gas turbines. However, the combustion characteristics of the mixed fuel are at two opposite extremes: the highly reactive hydrogen is easily flashback; the less reactive ammonia has

High Free‐Volume Imidazole‐Based Ionomers for High‐Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High free‐volume imidazole‐based ionomers (PF4IM‐72) enable enhanced phosphoric acid uptake and efficient proton transport, delivering peak power densities of 0.645 W cm−2 at 160 °C and 0.838 W cm−2 at 200 °C in HT‐PEMFCs. This work highlights a promising platform for next‐generation ionomers with improved high‐temperature performance and stability ...

Ammonia/Hydrogen and Cracked Ammonia Combustion

open access: yesEnergy & Fuels
Ammonia is a promising energy carrier for energy system decarbonization, although several drawbacks affect its combustion process. Coupling moderate or intense low-oxygen dilution (MILD) combustion with the use of high reactivity fuels allows to improve NH3 combustion.

ZrO2 Aerogel‐Supported Pd Nanoparticles for Photothermal CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nanoparticle‐based aerogels are promising catalysts for photothermal reactions due to optical transparency, high surface area, and low thermal conductivity. Here, we present deposition of Pd nanoparticles on ZrO2 aerogel granules by a wet‐impregnation approach.

Hydrogen combustion in internal combustion engines

open access: yes2024: Crisis Management Days : Conference Proceedings
Reducing carbon dioxide emissions, as well as other harmful gases generated by the combustion of fossil fuels, is one of today's main priorities. Hydrogen economy is one step in that direction. The basic idea is to replace fossil fuels with hydrogen obtained through environmentally friendly methods.

Hydrogen Combustion in I.C Engines

open access: yesIOSR Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering, 2014
The use of hydrogen as a fuel for the internal combustion engine represents an alternative to solve both of the greatest problems related to the use of classic fuels: the limitation of the fossil fuels consumption and the environment pollution. We first describe hydrogen-engine fundamentals by examining the engine-specific properties of hydrogen and ...
