Sustainable Synthesis of P‐Doped Carbon Nitride From Fertilizer Sources for Enhanced Photocatalysis
A new P‐doped carbon nitride was synthesized from the combination of thiourea and (NH4)2HPO4 by a straightforward and mild approach. The final material shows a fourfold higher specific surface area and excellent suppression of charge carrier recombination.

Drift measurements for conditions of hydrogen cyanamide spraying in kiwifruit
Kiwifruit are sprayed in late winter with hydrogen cyanamide to enhance with bud burst. The trellis layout of kiwifruit vines in combination with the canopy dormancy at that time of year means that a higher portion of the spray is able to drift away from the canopy.

Dormancy Patterns of Apple Trees Grown in a Mild Winter Region: A Breakpoint Model Analysis
ABSTRACT Climate change poses a significant challenge to the production of temperate climate fruit trees, since the dormancy of these species is regulated by the chill and heat accumulation during winter and early spring. This study aimed to identify the dormancy evolution patterns of three apple cultivars (“Galaxy,” “Fuji Suprema,” and “Eva”) in a ...

Prebiotic Organic Chemistry of Diketopiperazines
Diketopiperazines (DKPs) are considered essential in many life forms, but their prebiotic importance has not been fully understood. This review aims to discuss prebiotic organic chemistry for experimentally and computationally simulated reactions involving DKPs. ABSTRACT Even though the significance of amino acids and polypeptides is well recognized in
