Ground state of metallic hydrogen [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 1978
A proposed liquid state of metallic hydrogen at zero temperature is explored, and a variational upper bound to the ground-state energy is calculated. It is shown that the possibility that metallic hydrogen is a liquid around the metastable point (${r}_{s}=1.64$) cannot be ruled out.

Quantum computing simulation of the hydrogen molecular ground-state energies with limited resources

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2021
In this article, the hydrogen molecular ground-state energies using our algorithm based on quantum variational principle are calculated. They are calculated through a simulator since the system of the present study (i.e., the hydrogen molecule) is ...

Ground state energy of hydrogen-like ions in quantum plasmas [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics of Plasmas, 2020
Using the asymptotic iteration method (AIM) we investigate the variation in the 1s energy levels of hydrogen and helium-like static ions in fully degenerate electron gas.

Measurement and Analysis of Atomic Relaxation Time in Active Hydrogen Atomic Clocks

open access: yesChinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2022
The atomic relaxation time of a hydrogen atomic clock is the time required for atomic system after the selected state removing the atoms of the ground state hyperfine energy level (F = 0, mF = 0) and (F = 1, mF = −1) state to change from the (F = 1, mF =

Steps towards the hyperfine splitting measurement of the muonic hydrogen ground state: pulsed muon beam and detection system characterization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The high precision measurement of the hyperfine splitting of the muonic-hydrogen atom ground state with pulsed and intense muon beam requires careful technological choices both in the construction of a gas target and of the detectors.

nl-Selective Classical Charge-Exchange Cross Sections in Be4+ and Ground State Hydrogen Atom Collisions

open access: yesAtoms, 2022
Charge-exchange cross sections in Be4+ + H(1s) collisions are calculated using the three-body classical trajectory Monte Carlo method (CTMC) and the quasi-classical trajectory Monte Carlo method of Kirschbaum and Wilets (QCTMC) for impact energies ...

Structure optimization for parameterized quantum circuits [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2021
We propose an efficient method for simultaneously optimizing both the structure and parameter values of quantum circuits with only a small computational overhead. Shallow circuits that use structure optimization perform significantly better than circuits

A Note About the Ground State of the Hydrogen Molecule [PDF]

open access: yesCollection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 2007
A trial function is presented for the H2 molecule which provides the most accurate (the lowest) Bohr-Oppenheimer ground state energy among few-parametric trial functions (with ≤14 parameters). It includes the electronic correlation term in the form ~ exp (γr12) where γ is a variational parameter.
