Cinnamic‐hydroxamic‐acid derivatives (CHADs) are identified as novel inhibitors of the bacterial nucleoid‐associated protein HU, exhibiting potent antibacterial, anti‐biofilm (both inhibition and eradication), and DNA relaxation (anti‐supercoiling) activities. Moreover, CHADs demonstrate strong synergistic effects with multiple antibiotics.

This study develops a phosphorus‐doped cobalt single‐atom catalyst that enhances high‐valent cobalt–oxo species generation for water purification. This atomic‐level tuning boosts the catalyst's activity by 3.5 times, enabling efficient pollutant degradation. A continuous‐flow reactor achieves high, long‐term removal efficiency, producing water with low

Hydrogen isotope MicroChemLab FY15.
We have developed a new method to measure the composition of gaseous mixtures of any two hydrogen isotopes, as well as an inert gas component. When tritium is one of those hydrogen isotopes, there is usually some helium present, because the tritium decays to form helium at a rate of about 1% every 2 months.

A Perspective on the Applications of Triphasic Gas Storage in Electrochemical Systems
Gas storage in microporous materials positioned locally at an electrode or electrocatalyst surface enhances electrochemical processes. Abstract Microporous materials store gases under dry conditions (e.g., hydrogen or oxygen via physisorption), but in some cases microporous materials also show triphasic (e.g., in a solid|gas|liquid system) gas storage ...

Hydrogen Isotope Labeling of Pharmaceuticals via Dual Hydrogen Isotope Exchange Pathways
Isotopic labeling is a powerful technique extensively used in the pharmaceutical industry. By tracking isotope-labeled molecules, researchers gain unique and invaluable insights 20 into the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of new drug candidates. Hydrogen isotope labeling is particularly important as hydrogen is ubiquitous in organic molecules in ...

Red‐light‐activated Ir1 overcomes hypoxia tolerance and adapts to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, converting immunologically cold tumors into inflamed hot microenvironments. This conversion is driven by synergistic induction of immunogenic cell death through coordinated ferroptosis‐necroptosis pathways and spatiotemporally controlled ...
