Polymeric methylenebis(diphenylphosphine oxide) hydrogen triiodide

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2002
The conformation of the cationic part of the title compound, [[(C(6)H(5))(2)POH(0.5)](2)CH(2)]I(3) or dppmO(2)H(+) x I(3)(-) (dppm is diphenylphosphinomethane), is determined by hydrogen bonds between cations of monoprotonated [(C(6)H(5))(2)P([double bond]O)](2)CH(2) (dppmO(2)).

Selective Oxidation of Hydrogen to Hydrogen Peroxide

1992
Abstract The synthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) using H 2 ‐O 2 was studied at temperatures from -10°C to 25°C and pressures from 0.50 MPa to 2.3 MPa. Active catalysts included platinum group metals attached to hydrophobic carbon, supported on a mixture of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials.

Hydrogen-oxidizing bacteria for biomass production

International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 1990
Abstract The conversion of molecular hydrogen into microbial biomass using hydrogen-oxidizing bacteria, cultivated in the presence of mineral nutrients and H2 + CO2 as energy and carbon source, has been examined. The transformation of solar energy into electric power by a photovoltaic device and the production of molecular hydrogen from water by ...

Hydrogen in semiconducting oxides

2019 Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW), 2019
Hydrogen does not exist as a neutral impurity in semiconductors; it always gives up an electron becoming positively charged impurity or acquires an electron becoming negatively charged impurity. This has profound effects on the electronic properties of materials.

Ascorbic Acid Oxidation by Hydrogen Peroxide

Analytical Biochemistry, 1998
The oxidative degradation of ascorbic acid by hydrogen peroxide was examined to determine routes of degradation and identify the initial products which form when ascorbic acid is oxidized. When reacted with hydrogen peroxide, solutions of ascorbic acid and dehydroascorbic acid are both ultimately oxidized to the same species, having a mass spectrum ...
