Carbon‐Based Electrocatalysts for Efficient Hydrogen Peroxide Production
Advanced Materials, 2021Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is an environment‐friendly and efficient oxidant with a wide range of applications in different industries. Recently, the production of hydrogen peroxide through direct electrosynthesis has attracted widespread research attention,

Hydrogen Peroxide Synthesis: An Outlook beyond the Anthraquinone Process
Angewandte Chemie - International Edition, 2006Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is widely used in almost all industrial areas, particularly in the chemical industry and environmental protection. The only degradation product of its use is water, and thus it has played a large role in environmentally friendly ...

Sprayed Water Microdroplets Are Able to Generate Hydrogen Peroxide Spontaneously.
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022Ultrapure N2 gas was bubbled through water, and the humidified output containing undetectable concentrations of ozone filled a closed chamber in which 18 MΩ-cm water was sprayed through a silica capillary to form microdroplets.

Electrochemical and photoelectrochemical water oxidation for hydrogen peroxide production.
Angewandte Chemie, 2020Hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ), as a green fuel and oxidant, has drawn increasing attention in the energy and environment field recently. Compared with the traditional anthraquinone process, electrochemical (EC) and photoelectrochemical (PEC) synthesis of ...

Hydrogen Peroxide is Scavenged by Ascorbate-specific Peroxidase in Spinach Chloroplasts
, 1981Intact spinach chloroplasts scavenge hydrogen peroxide with a peroxidase that uses a photoreductant as the electron donor, but the activity of ruptured chloroplasts is very low [Nakano and Asada (1980) Plant & Cell Physiol. 21: 1295].

Current Opinion in Plant Biology, 2002
Recent biochemical and genetic studies confirm that hydrogen peroxide is a signalling molecule in plants that mediates responses to abiotic and biotic stresses. Signalling roles for hydrogen peroxide during abscisic-acid-mediated stomatal closure, auxin-regulated root gravitropism and tolerance of oxygen deprivation are now evident.

The American Journal of Surgery, 1951
Abstract There is no doubt that enemas using hydrogen peroxide solutions are effective in relieving fecal impactions. It is apparent, however, that the strength of the solutions used must be closely supervised in order to avoid complications. In my experience no more than 30 cc. (1 ounce) or at most 60 cc. (2 ounces) of a U. S. P.

Photoreduction of hydrogen peroxide by hydrogen
The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1976The photoreduction of hydrogen peroxide in water under hydrogen of up to 100 atm pressure has been investigated. The reaction involves a chain mechanism with the quantum efficiency for the disappearance of hydrogen peroxide being strongly dependent upon the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. A maximum quantum efficiency of about 35 mol/einstein occurs
