Oxidation of Glycals with Hydrogen Peroxide
European Journal of Organic Chemistry, 1998Tri-O-acetyl-D-glucal (8) treated with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide–molybdenum trioxide undergoes a Ferrier rearrangement to form 2,3-unsaturated anomeric hydroperoxides 14 and 15. Tri-O-acetyl-D-galactal (10) and tri-O-benzyl-D-glucal (9), under the same conditions, afford the hydroperoxides in a low yield, whereas tri-O-benzyl-D-galactal (11) does ...

[55] Oxidation with hydrogen peroxide
1967Publisher Summary Hydrogen peroxide is a relatively nonspecific oxidizing agent and under appropriate conditions can react with a wide variety of organic compounds. This chapter discusses the principle and procedure of oxidation with hydrogen peroxide.

Selective Oxidation of Hydrogen to Hydrogen Peroxide
1992Abstract The synthesis of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) using H 2 ‐O 2 was studied at temperatures from -10°C to 25°C and pressures from 0.50 MPa to 2.3 MPa. Active catalysts included platinum group metals attached to hydrophobic carbon, supported on a mixture of hydrophobic and hydrophilic materials.

Hydrogen peroxide and nitric oxide
2013Significance: During the Legume–Rhizobium symbiosis, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and nitric oxide (NO) appear to play an important signaling role in the establishment and the functioning of this interaction. Modifications of the levels of these reactive species in both partners impair either the development of the nodules (new root organs formed on

Catalytic Oxidations of Alkynes by hydrogen peroxide
1988Catalytic oxidations of alkynes by dilute hydrogen peroxide are performed in dioxane and in a two phase dichloroethane/water system utilizing sodium molybdate or tun state salts in the presence of mercuric acetate or trifluoroacetate. Internal alkynes display low reactivity in both solven systems, whereas terminal alkynes are fast oxidized in the two ...
