Hydromechanical Transmission IC2OC: Component Sizing and Optimization
The IC2OC transmission is a continuous transmission whose layout can change from simple IC to simple OC configuration and vice versa. It was proposed to cover a wider range of vehicle speeds without adding gears.

A unified framework for hydromechanical signaling can explain transmission of local and long-distance signals in plants. [PDF]
Significance Plants can rapidly transduce localized stimuli into whole-plant responses through propagating signals. Decades of research suggest that hydromechanical processes, involving water flow and the transmission of mechanical stresses and strains ...

Hydromechanical Automatic Transmission [PDF]
This contribution describes some tests of hydromechanical infinitely variable transmission (IVT) on a test stand. Further, there is described a truck with installed IVT and tests of this IVT at real conditions. There is also shown a control system of the

Design considerations about the hydromechanical transmission IC2OC
Abstract The hydromechanical transmission IC2OC operates as an Input Coupled transmission at low speeds and as an Output Coupled transmission at high speeds; a series of clutches allows the shift between two layouts. In this way the transmission speed range can be almost doubled.

Control strategies for a powertrain with hydromechanical transmission
Abstract This paper deals with the management of an engine equipped with a continuous hydro-mechanical transmission. The traditional minimum fuel consumption control strategy requires the control system to keep the engine along the minimum fuel consumption line.

This paper proposes a new transmission scheme of hydromechanical continuously variable transmission (HMCVT) for tractors. The HMCVT has 4 working ranges in each of the front and rear directions. The speed characteristic and the torque characteristic of HMCVT are theoretically derived.

Design and calculation of double-flow hydromechanical transmission
This article describes a method of designing and calculating of double-flow hydromechanical transmissions, widely used in modern transmissions of wheeled and tracked vehicles. The authors considered harmonization of the load characteristic of the double-flow hydromechanical transmis- sion with an external high-speed characteristics of the engine.
