AbstractThis report describes a case of hydrometrocolpos presenting antenatally as a cystic mass arising from the pelvis of a female fetus. The baby was born at 33 weeks and died within an hour due to pulmonary hypoplasia. Postmortem examination demonstrated hydrometrocolpos, dense adhesions in the abdomen and pulmonary hypoplasia.
