On the hydrothermal synthesis of wolframite
Chemical Geology, 1985Abstract Wolframite was synthesized hydrothermally at 1 kbar between temperatures of 200° and 400°C. The pH-values and periods of cooling were varied. The crystallographic constitution and the chemical composition were investigated by electron probe microanalysis.

Hydrothermal synthesis of Pb2SnO4
Materials Research Bulletin, 1999Abstract Fine, yellowish powder of Pb 2 SnO 4 with elongated crystalline morphology was synthesized hydrothermally in an alkaline system. To prepare a pure product, the mineralizer NaOH should be at a suitable concentration. In comparison with the solid-state method, the hydrothermal synthesis of Pb 2 SnO 4 requires much milder reaction conditions.
