This review establishes structure‐property‐mechanism relationships across six modification strategies for V‐based oxide water‐splitting electrocatalysts: lattice engineering, heteroatom doping, interface engineering, carbon‐based hybridization, morphology engineering, and surface reconstruction and pre‐catalyst design, where dissolution is reframed as ...

Geochemical and Visual Indicators of Hydrothermal Fluid Flow through a Sediment-Hosted Volcanic Ridge in the Central Bransfield Basin (Antarctica) [PDF]
In the austral summer of 2011 we undertook an investigation of three volcanic highs in the Central Bransfield Basin, Antarctica, in search of hydrothermal activity and associated fauna to assess changes since previous surveys and to evaluate the extent ...

An Alhagi maurorum inspired hierarchical composite membrane (NFCu) was developed by integrating heavy metal remediation and solar‐driven interfacial evaporation in a single platform. Beyond the photothermal effect, a localized photocatalytic process is realized on the CuO surface, deepening the mechanistic understanding of light–matter–water ...

Diffuse flow environments within basalt- and sediment-based hydrothermal vent ecosystems harbor specialized microbial communities [PDF]
Hydrothermal vents differ both in surface input and subsurface geochemistry. The effects of these differences on their microbial communities are not clear.

The [Fe, Al]-FER zeolites, which are prepared from the interzeolite conversion method (from MWW to FER topology) with high Al and Fe content (Si/Al of 8–18 and Si/Fe of 11–13), exhibit excellent catalytic performances and hydrothermal tolerance for NH3 ...

Top‐down ultrasonication produces highly emissive Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ nanocrystals (NCs) with a PLQY of 65%, which is higher compared to that of the NCs synthesized by typical bottom‐up hot‐injection synthesis. The colloidal Cs2ZrCl6:Te4+ NCs have been found to be potential candidates for x‐ray scintillation imaging.
