Constrained Forest Methane Sink by Thermal Adaptation of Soil Methanotrophs
Climate warming can stimulate methanotroph‐mediated CH4 oxidation in forest soils, thereby mitigating the increase in atmospheric CH4 concentrations. By integrating evidence from a macro‐climatic thermal gradient and a 70‐day incubation experiment, this study demonstrates that microbial methanotrophs can adapt to long‐term temperature changes at the ...

Strong metal‐support interactions (SMSI) drive the spontaneous segregation of RuPt alloy into Janus nanoparticles on CeO2, spatially partitioning Pt‐rich domains for H2 dissociation and Ru‐rich domains for toluene adsorption. This Janus nanocatalysts yield a turnover frequency of 10 906 h−1 for toluene hydrogenation at 50 °C, which is 6.7 times that of

Anion‐Driven Surface Reconstruction Enables Direct Regeneration of LiCoO2 Cathode Material
The anion scpecies in molten salt systems critically govern the surface reconstruction of regenerated LiCoO2. LiOH−LiCl flux, featuring strong Cl− adsorption and facile dissociation, directs preferential relithiation on (003) facets and forms a Li−O enriched interface.
