Characterization of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene

Polymer Bulletin, 1997
The structures of hydroxyl terminated polybutadienes (HTPB) obtained by free radical polymerization of butadiene in ethanol medium initiated by thermal and photochemical hydrogen peroxide decomposition were studied. The incorporation of alcohol in the polymer chain ends was evidenced by 1 H and 13 C NMR spectroscopy.

Functional Alkyl‐Ferrocene Grafted Hydroxyl Terminated Polybutadiene

ChemistrySelect, 2021
Abstract Grafting of functional ferrocene molecules in the backbone of hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) without altering physical characteristics such as viscosity, hydroxyl value, molecular weight of the pristine HTPB remains as an important challenge owing to the difficulty in synthesizing appropriate functional ferrocene ...

Characterization of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene

Polymer Bulletin, 1994
Liquiflex is a commercial hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) produced by Brazilian technology. It was characterized with respect to molecular weight, functionallty, microstructure and hydroxyl group types. The results were compared with those obtained for R45M and R45TH Atochem products.
