Anisotropic 2D materials for tunable hyperbolic plasmonics
Motivated by the recent emergence of a new class of anisotropic 2D materials, we examine their electromagnetic modes and demonstrate that a broad class of the materials can host highly directional hyperbolic plasmons.

In this paper we consider a special class of arithmetic quotients of bounded symmetric domains which can roughly be described as higher- dimensional analogues of the Hilbert modular varities. The algebraic groups are defined as the unitary groups over two-dimensional right vector spaces over a division algebra with involution. If $d$ denotes the degree

This study underscores the significant influence of frailty and vitality on the subjective health experience of older cancer survivors with acceptance and control emerging as salient mediators. These findings affirm the conceptual and empirical robustness of the model highlighting its potential utility in shaping future interventions for older cancer ...

ABSTRACT Background Poststroke fatigue (PSF) and frailty share substantial overlap in their manifestations, yet previous research has yielded conflicting results due to the use of heterogeneous frailty assessment tools. Objective To evaluate the independent impact of frailty on PSF using a unified measurement system (Tilburg Frailty Indicator, TFI ...

In this paper, we present two gyroarea formulas (Möbius-Bretschneider’s formula and Möbius-Cagnoli’s formula) for Möbius gyroquadrilaterals in the Poincaré disc model of hyperbolic geometry.

Global continuous solutions to diagonalizable hyperbolic systems with large and monotone data [PDF]
In this paper, we study diagonalizable hyperbolic systems in one space dimension. Based on a new gradient entropy estimate, we prove the global existence of a continuous solution, for large and nondecreasing initial data.

Use of Symptomatic Drug Treatment for Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis and Patterns of Work Loss
ABSTRACT Objective To describe the use of central stimulants and amantadine for fatigue in MS and evaluate a potential association with reduced work loss in people with MS. Methods We conducted a nationwide, matched, register‐based cohort study in Sweden (2006 to 2023) using national registers with prospective data collection.

Vector fields satisfying the barycenter property
We show that if a vector field X has the C1 robustly barycenter property then it does not have singularities and it is Axiom A without cycles. Moreover, if a generic C1-vector field has the barycenter property then it does not have singularities and it ...
