Transitioning Formamide Solvothermal Syntheses of MOFs to Less Toxic Solvents

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic Frameworks (MOFs) are commonly synthesized in toxic formamide solvents. This study investigates the synthetic factors required for effective removal of formamides across various classes of MOFs, providing a foundation for designing new sustainable MOF syntheses.

The Geometry of Hyperbolic Curvoids

Publications of the Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, 2023
The main purposes of the present paper are to introduce the notion of a hyperbolic curvoid and to study the geometry of hyperbolic curvoids. A hyperbolic curvoid is defined to be a certain profinite group and may be considered to be “group-theoretic abstraction” of the notion of a hyperbolic curve from the viewpoint of anabelian geometry.

DISCRETE HYPERBOLIC GEOMETRY

Combinatorica, 1983
The aim of the paper is to make geometers and combinatorialists familiar with old and new connections between the geometry of Lorentz space and combinatorics. Among the topics treated are equiangular lines and their relations to spherical 2-distance sets; spherical and hyperbolic root systems and their relation to graphs whose second largest eigenvalue
