Significance of chemical reaction with activation energy for Riga wedge flow of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid in existence of heat source

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2021
This manuscript uncovers the heat and mass transfer of an unsteady tangent hyperbolic nanofluid flow across an extensible Riga wedge under the effects of stagnation point, heat source, and activation energy.

Numerical simulation of thermal processes occurring in materials under the action of femtosecond laser pulses

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Models and Applied Computational Science, 2021
In this work, a numerical study of the solutions of the parabolic and hyperbolic equations of heat conduction with the same physical parameters is carried out and a comparative analysis of the results obtained is carried out. The mathematical formulation

Flux formulation of hyperbolic heat conduction [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Physics, 1985
The development of the general flux formulation for heat conduction based on the modified Fourier’s law is presented. This new formulation produces a hyperbolic vector equation in heat flux which is more convenient to use for analysis in situations involving specified flux conditions than the standard temperature formulation.

Hyperbolic heat conduction in two semi-infinite bodies in contact [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
summary:We find, under the viewpoint of the hyperbolic model of heat conduction, the exact analytical solution for the temperature distribution in all points of two semi-infinite homogeneous isotropic bodies that initially are at uniform temperatures ...

ANALYTICAL SOLUTION OF NON-FOURIER HEAT CONDUCTION PROBLEM ON A SLAB UNDER CONVECTION BOUNDARY CONDITIONS [PDF]

open access: yesمجله مدل سازی در مهندسی, 2013
This paper studies an analytical method which combines the superposition technique along with the solution structure theorem such that a closed-form solution of the hyperbolic heat conduction equation can be obtained using fundamental mathematics.

Thermal quadrupole method with internal heat sources [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A new method based on the thermal quadrupoles technique for heat transfer modelling in multilayered slabs with heat sources is proposed. Classical thermal quadrupoles use hyperbolic functions and numerical problems occur according to the argument value ...

Lack of controllability of the heat equation with memory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider a model for the heat equation with memory, which has infinite propagation speed, like the standard heat equation. We prove that, in spite of this, for every T > 0 there exist square integrable initial data which cannot be steered to hit zero ...
