On Euler number of symplectic hyperbolic manifold
In this article, we introduce a class of closed $2n$-dimensional almost Kähler manifold $X$ which called the special symplectic hyperbolic manifold. Those manifolds include Kähler hyperbolic manifolds. We study the spaces of $L^{2}$-harmonic forms on the universal covering space of $X$.

Progress in Surface Plasmon and Other Resonance Biosensors for Biomedical Applications
This is the shortened version: Recent advancements in surface plasmon resonance and other optical resonance biosensors for biomedical applications are presented. Advanced sensing strategies are examined for the detection of diverse analytes, integration of nanomaterials and machine learning, and emerging nonplasmonic modes like guided mode resonance ...

Do smaller chicken farms use more antibiotics? Evidence of antibiotic diffusion from Nigeria
Abstract Farmers across the world have been using antibiotics in poultry production for both therapeutic and nontherapeutic purposes since the mid 1900s. The literature on antibiotic diffusion and intensification is largely focused on developed countries in North America and Western Europe.

Kähler hyperbolic manifolds and Chern number inequalities
We show in this article that Kähler hyperbolic manifolds satisfy a family of optimal Chern number inequalities and that the equality cases can be attained by some compact ball quotients. These present restrictions to complex structures on negatively curved compact Kähler manifolds, thus providing evidence for the rigidity conjecture of S.-T. Yau.

Photochromic compounds are versatile ingredients for the development of Chemical AI. When they are embedded in a tight microenvironment, they become Markov blankets. They are also valuable for processing Boolean and Fuzzy logic. They contribute to neuromorphic engineering in wetware based on opto‐chemical signals exchanged with oscillatory chemical ...

Asymmetric Transmission and Diffraction Engineering in Ultrathin media via Coupled Metasurfaces
Grating‐insulator‐grating coupled crosstalking metasurfaces hosted on a silicon nitride membrane platform for asymmetric control of the diffraction pattern and asymmetric transmission. It is shown that exploiting the interferences of higher diffraction orders between the two metasurfaces and engineering the resulting modes enables AT in such ...

Stimulated Raman Scattering with Optical Vortex Beams
This study presents exact analytical expressions for stimulated Raman scattering with Laguerre‐Gaussian beams, revealing signal dependence on topological and hyperbolic momentum. The results provide a theoretical foundation for coherent Raman imaging and detecting orbital angular momentum of light via structured light in nonlinear optics.

Bleeding‐Mimetic Damage‐Detecting and Self‐Healing Modular Skin for Inflatable Structures
A damage‐detecting and self‐healing system inspired by the human bleeding mechanism is developed for inflatable structures, using a liquid conductive elastomeric material enclosed in a small pouch. This material, composed of uncured elastomer, its curing agent, conductive particles, and a dispersant, solidifies only after being exposed to air and ...

Data is generated from finite element simulations and an encoding using a Moore domain. The data is then used to train a meta‐model to predict the soft unit's deformation state depending on its chamber shape and properties as well as the surrounding environment.
