Climate Vulnerability and Renewable Energy Consumption: The Moderating Role of Financial Development
ABSTRACT This study investigates the nexus between climate vulnerability (CVUL) and renewable energy consumption (RECO) and tests the moderating effect of financial development (FD) on this relationship. The analysis is, particularly, relevant for the 162 panel countries observed between 1995 and 2022, which face diverse climate risks and exhibit ...

Thermo-Mechanical Coupling Load Transfer Method of Energy Pile Based on Hyperbolic Tangent Model
By employing the hyperbolic tangent model of load transfer (LT), this paper establishes the thermo-mechanical (TM) coupling load transfer analysis approach for an energy pile (EP). By incorporating the control condition of the unbalance force at the null

Study of Material Composition Effects on the Mechanical Properties of Soil-Rock Mixtures
Soil-rock mixtures are often seen in geological deposits. Mechanical properties of these mixtures are controlled by microstructural characteristics such as rock size distribution, rock shape, locations, and content. The effects of material composition on

This work demonstrates that replacing Ti with Nb in maraging steel forms nanoscale Nb–Mo particles along boundaries, strengthening the alloy without relying on Ti phases. Heat‐treatment tuning promotes uniform crystal orientation and balanced grain boundaries, enabling strong yet ductile behavior.

Abstract After a blossoming pre‐World War II (WWII) period, the concrete construction industry in then‐socialist Hungary existed in a relative isolation from the Western World during the mid‐20th century. In this paper, we focus on the body of work of one of the then newly established state‐owned design offices, IPARTERV, to show how the isolation ...
