Development of Laterally Graded X‐Ray Multilayer Optics
This work presents the development of laterally graded X‐ray multilayer optics with both constant and variable lateral gradients. By precisely controlling substrate speed profiles and mask design, these multilayers achieve highly accurate lateral gradients and excellent sagittal thickness uniformity, making them ideal for spectroscopy application at ...

Orthogonal Projections Based on Hyperbolic and Spherical n-Simplex
Orthogonal projection along a geodesic to the chosen k-plane is introduced using edge and Gram matrix of an n-simplex in hyperbolic or spherical n-space. The distance from a point to k-plane is obtained by the orthogonal projection.

Integrated Au nanosheet sensor array enables simultaneous inference of gas concentration and flow rate via deep neural network analysis, without external flow control. ABSTRACT Gas sensor responses are considerably affected by gas flow rates, thereby inhibiting the accurate detection of target gas concentrations in variable‐flow applications such as ...

This is a mini monograph on Gromov hyperbolic spaces, which are not necessarily geodesic or proper. As the author notes, the purpose of the article is to give a fairly detailed treatment of the basic theory of hyperbolic spaces more general than proper and geodesic.

A characterization of hyperbolic spaces
We show that a geodesic metric space, and in particular the Cayley graph of a finitely generated group, is hyperbolic in the sense of Gromov if and only if intersections of any two metric balls is itself “almost” a metric ball. In particular, \mathbb R -trees are characterized among the ...
