Determination of coordinates of the earthquake hypocenter by the method of circles
Objective. The aim of the study is to develop a method for determining the coordinates of the earthquake hypocenter using various combinations of second and fourth order figures as a geo-locus of the hypocenter position points.Method.

Quadratic Hyperboloids in Minkowski Geometries
AbstractA Minkowski plane is Euclidean if and only if at least one hyperbola is a quadric. We discuss the higher dimensional consequences too.

Electrostatic interaction between Interball-2 and the ambient plasma. 2. Influence on the low energy ion measurements with Hyperboloid [PDF]
The measurement of the thermal ion distributions in space is always strongly influenced by the ion motion through the complex 3D electrostatic potential structure built around a charged spacecraft.

b-Contact structures on tentacular hyperboloids
This paper connects two different approaches to the analysis of Hamiltonian dynamics on non-compact energy hypersurfaces - $b$-symplectic geometry with its singular symplectic form and Floer techniques for tentacular Hamiltonians. More precisely, we show how to equip tentacular hyperboloids with a $b$-contact structure.

This paper investigates a relativistic model of the Universe in which the geometry describes a 4D version of the 2-sheeted hyperboloid that is isotropic, homogeneous in space at a given time and inhomogeneous in time. The internal Schwarzschild metric is used for this model, which is justified by the fact that spherically-symmetric empty spaces in the ...
