All‐in‐One Interface Engineering From Bulk to Electrode Toward High‐Performance Micro‐Sized Silicon Anodes

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 55, 1 October 2026.
Microsized silicon (µ‐Si, >1 µm) is one of the ideal anodes for lithium‐ion batteries. In this paper, an integrated co‐carbonization electrode (ICCE) without binder and conductive agent was prepared by precoating a uniform carbon layer on the surface of µ‐Si particles, which significantly improved the electrochemical performance.

Design and Synthesis of Hyperbranched Aromatic Polymers for Catalysis

open access: yes, 2018
Aromatic polymers such as poly(ether sulfone), poly(ether ketone), and polyimide have been widely used in industry due to their thermal, mechanical, and chemical stabilities. Although their application to catalysis has been limited, the introduction of a

Fluorescent Hyperbranched Polymers and Cotton Fabrics Treated with Them as Innovative Agents for Antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy and Self-Disinfecting Textiles

open access: yesMacromol
The results of this study, which involved treating cotton fabrics with three fluorescent hyperbranched polymers modified with 1,8-naphthalamide (P1), acridine (P2), and dansyl (P3) groups, could have applications in the development of antimicrobial ...

Facile synthesis of novel soluble cellulose-grafted hyperbranched polymers as potential natural antimicrobial materials

open access: yes, 2017
A new class of soluble cellulose-grafted hyperbranched polymers has been synthesized by a facile “hypergrafting” reaction using bis(2-chloroethyl)amine and soluble cellulose tosylates.

Hyperbranched Polymers

open access: yes, 2010
A method for limiting the transmission of light through a material is disclosed. In the method, a layer composed of a hyperbranched polymer formed via a copolycyclotrimerization reaction is interposed between a light source and the material.
