Flora da Bahia: Hypericaceae

open access: yesSITIENTIBUS série Ciências Biológicas, 2016
The treatment of the Hypericaceae from Bahia, Brazil, is presented as a contribution to the knowledge of the flora of the state. One species of Hypericum (H. brasiliense) and four of Vismia (V. atlantica, V. guianensis, V. martiana e V. pentagyna) are recognized. Descriptions, illustrations, notes, and distribution maps of species in Bahia are provided.

Greater Thermal Plasticity Toward Heterogeneous Range‐Edge Environments of Three Hypericum Species

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
Predictions from the highest‐ranked models testing the effect of range position (RP) and environmental heterogeneity (EH) on trait plasticity, with population‐specific plasticity values in blue (Hypericum montanum), red (H. perforatum), and green (H. maculatum).

Niche Segregation Between Black‐Necked Crane and Common Crane in Human‐Modified Landscape, Huize Black‐Necked Crane National Nature Reserve, Yunnan Province, Southwestern China

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 4, April 2026.
We investigated how Black‐necked Cranes and Common Cranes coexist in agro‐wetland landscapes of southwest China by reconstructing their plant‐based diets using eDNA metabarcoding. Black‐necked Cranes maintained broad, stable diets centered on natural vegetation, while Common Cranes shifted dynamically to energy‐dense crops, leading to progressive niche
