Diagnosing Hyperlipidemia Using Association Rules
Data mining methodologies have been developed for exploration and analysis of large quantities of data to discover meaningful patterns and rules. This paper presents a new approach, that employs data mining, to find association rules an effective method ...

Therapy of Canine Hyperlipidemia with Bezafibrate [PDF]
BackgroundBezafibrate (BZF) is effective in the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia in human patients, but there are no data on its use in dogs.ObjectiveTo assess the safety of BZF in hyperlipidemic dogs and its efficacy in decreasing serum triglyceride ...

Liberation of ferulic acid by gut microbial feruloyl esterase mediates cognitive enhancement of germinated quinoa (GQF) on obese mice. Ferulic acid enriched in GQF is released by gut microbes Roseburia hominis and R. intestinalis and subsequently mediates the neuroprotective effects of GQF on obesity‐induced cognitive decline by activating hippocampal ...

Hyperlipidemia Is Associated with Chronic Urticaria: A Population-Based Study. [PDF]
The etiology of chronic urticaria (CU) is diverse, with chronic infections and inflammation being reported as considerable contributing factors. Although the prevalence of metabolic syndrome was found to be significantly elevated in patients with CU, no ...

In diabetic kidney disease, elevated podocyte ANGPTL4 is linked to reduced TFEB nuclear localization and compromised lysosomal degradative function. These changes impair podocyte lipophagy and promote lipid‐droplet accumulation and podocyte injury, which may contribute to renal injury progression.

Monogenic hyperlipidemias are a group of inherited disorders characterized by elevated plasma concentrations of lipids and lipoproteins. High plasma concentrations of lipids are the most frequent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Monogenic hyperlipidemias are a minor cause with respect to multifactorial hyperlipidemias.

Oxidant stress in hyperlipidemia-induced renal damage
Hyperlipoproteinemia can aggravate glomerulosclerosis and chronic tubulointerstitial (ti) damage in kidneys without primary immunologic disease. We evaluated whether the effect of hyperlipidemia on progression of renal damage differed between kidneys ...

Germinated brown rice relieves hyperlipidemia by alleviating gut microbiota dysbiosis
Hyperlipidemia is a frequent metabolic disorder that is closely associated with diet. It is believed that brown rice, containing the outer bran layer and germ, is beneficial for the remission of hyperlipidemia.

Self‑amplifying PCSK9–LOX‑1 feedback axis drives atherosclerotic progression by promoting oxLDL generation and endothelial uptake. A dual‑targeting nanoplatform (siPCSK9@PEAL NPs‑aL) is constructed to simultaneously silence hepatic PCSK9 for lipid lowering and block plaque LOX‑1 for anti‑inflammation.

Hepatic APOF transcript levels correlate inversely with plasma TG and hepatic steatosis in humans. ApoF expression in mice promotes VLDL‐TG production and lipoprotein remnant clearance in mice. Abstract Background NAFLD affects nearly 25% of the global population. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most common cause of death among patients with NAFLD,
