Ultra‐Flat Watt‐Level All‐Fiber Supercontinuum Generation With 3‐dB Spectral Bandwidth Spanning From 414 to 1860 nm

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 7, 13 April 2026.
We experimentally achieve an ultraflat, 4.35‐W all‐fiber supercontinuum spanning from 414 to 1860 nm (3‐dB bandwidth). To our knowledge, this represents the broadest octave‐spanning, visible‐to‐NIR, ultraflat SC source ever reported, which also exhibits maximal visible band coverage. ABSTRACT We propose a method for generating ultraflat supercontinuum (

Fluorescence Quantum Efficiency Data for Europe 2018–2025

open access: yesGeoscience Data Journal, Volume 13, Issue 2, April 2026.
We present a new dataset of fluorescence quantum efficiency (ΦF) across Europe and northern Africa (2018–2025). Derived from TROPOMI SIF and MODIS PAR at 0.05° resolution, the dataset provides daily, decadal and monthly coverage. The dataset includes input bands and quality layers, enabling applications in vegetation stress monitoring and drought ...

The contribution of vibrational spectroscopy and data analytics towards the achievement of the global sustainability goals

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 6, Page 3239-3246, April 2026.
Abstract The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) were defined to improve the quality of life of the global population particularly regarding social and economic aspects, with a major focus on environmental sustainability. The incorporation of digital technologies into the agri‐food sector has become a key enabler in increasing the ...

Sodium Induced Beneficial Effects in Wide Bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 Solar Cell With 15.7% Efficiency

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, Volume 34, Issue 4, Page 439-452, April 2026.
Wide bandgap Cu(In,Ga)S2 absorbers grown on soda‐lime glass (SLG) were optimized by introducing additional sodium (Na) via in situ NaF co‐evaporation. Optimal Na incorporation enhanced crystallinity, minimized Ga fluctuations across the depth, suppressed bulk defects, and reduced non‐radiative losses.
