Real‐Time In Vivo Monitoring of Anastomotic Intestinal Ischemia Using Implantable Resorbable Organic Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 16, 18 March 2026.
Resorbable impedance sensors are successfully implanted into porcine small intestinal anastomoses. Impedance was recorded for 2 hours prior, and 2 hours following ischemia induction, and a significant drop in tissue impedance was observed. Abstract Anastomotic failure remains one of the most severe complications in gastrointestinal surgery.

Real‐Time High‐Definition Hyperspectral Endoscopy via Spatial‐Temporal Low‐Frequency‐Stochastic Spectral Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 16, 18 March 2026.
A real‐time, high‐definition hyperspectral endoscopy is enabled by developing a spatial‐temporal spectral encoding approach based on low‐frequency stochastic filters combined with an encoding‐guided attention network. It provides hyperspectral image of in vivo tissue with fine superficial features, enables visualization of rapid and subtle ...

Plasmonic Bi‐Cavity Nanostructure for Efficient Light Collection and Localization

open access: yesAnalysis &Sensing, Volume 6, Issue 2, March 2026.
Co‐tuning the plateau and pyramid lengths of a pyramid‐on‐plateau nanostructure creates a hybrid antenna‐cavity that efficiently couples low‐NA excitation and funnels energy to the apex, increasing nano‐Raman signal and enabling TERS in geometries previously inaccessible to high‐NA objectives.Tip‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) typically relies on ...
