On the hyperstability of a class of hybrid systems

International Journal of Systems Science, 1997
Abstract Sufficient conditions of the hyperstability of a class of single-input single-output hybrid systems, composed of interconnected continuous and discrete subsystems, are given. Hyperstability is guaranteed by that of a discrete extended system which is built by incorporating samples of the continuous substrate.

Hyperstability in variable structure systems

1980 19th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control including the Symposium on Adaptive Processes, 1980
Reaching and existence conditions for variable structure systems are considered using hyperstability theory. A new sufficient condition for linear, time invariant systems is derived, and an example is given to illustrate how the condition is more relaxed than the sufficient condition presently used for such systems.

ASYMPTOTIC HYPERSTABILITY OF A CLASS OF NEURAL NETWORKS

International Journal of Neural Systems, 1999
This paper is concerned with the asymptotic hyperstability of recurrent neural networks. We derive based on the stability results necessary and sufficient conditions for the network parameters. The results we achieve are more general than those based on Lyapunov methods, since they provide milder constraints on the connection weights than the ...

A HYPERSTABILITY RESULT FOR THE CAUCHY EQUATION

Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2013
AbstractWe prove a hyperstability result for the Cauchy functional equation$f(x+ y)= f(x)+ f(y)$, which complements some earlier stability outcomes of J. M. Rassias. As a consequence, we obtain the slightly surprising corollary that for every function$f$, mapping a normed space${E}_{1} $into a normed space${E}_{2} $, and for all real numbers$r, s$with ...
