Migration and Caesarean Section Birth in the United Kingdom: A Secondary Analysis of Born in Bradford Data

This secondary analysis of Born in Bradford data provides comparison of caesarean section birth rates (total, elective, and emergency) between migrant populations and UK‐born women. Findings show variations between migrant populations with some experiencing significantly lower, and others significantly higher incidence rates.

Pregnancy‐Related Risk and Birth Setting Trends: Insights From Indonesian Demographic Health Survey Data

New analysis from 15 years of Indonesian Demographic Health Survey Data has identified a shift from home birth to hospital birth. However, 65% of women who gave birth in hospital had no risk factors, while 13% of women who gave birth at home did report pregnancy‐related risk factors.

A multicentre analysis of efficacy, safety and molecular response correlates of fostamatinib in warm autoimmune haemolytic anaemia and Evans syndrome

Fostamatinib had 46% durable response, with 73% steroid reduction, in this multicentre retrospective study of refractory wAIHA/ES. Hypertension, gastrointestinal (GI) distress and neutropenia occurred in 23%. Only one patient required drug discontinuation and one patient dose reduction.

Thrombospondin‐4 is upregulated in abdominal aortic aneurysm: A vasoprotective response with potential therapeutic relevance

TSP4 is upregulated in human and experimental AAA. TSP4 knockdown accelerated AAA formation and exacerbated both vascular inflammation and remodelling, emphasizing that TSP4 upregulation may represent a protective response against AAA. Our findings suggest that preserving TSP4 could be a useful strategy in the clinical management of AAA.
