Human Umbilical Cord Plasma Metabolomics Uncover Potential Metabolites for Combating Aging

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 1, January 2026.
Untargeted metabolomics reveals a unique cord plasma metabolic landscape versus adult. Age‐declining cord‐specific enriched metabolites are identified as antiaging candidates, with a 5‐compound formula validated in proof‐of‐experiments to extend lifespan and healthspan in human cells and C. elegans.

Impact of age at first visit on glycolipid metabolism, bone metabolism, and fertility potential in patients with Klinefelter syndrome

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 122-131, January 2026.
Abstract Background Classic Klinefelter syndrome (KS) is characterized by one extra X chromosome (47, XXY), leading to hypergonadotropic hypogonadism and higher risk of alterations in glycolipid homeostasis, cardiovascular diseases, and low bone mineral density. Most frequently, KS is diagnosed in adulthood because of infertility.

Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics of the Oral TYK2 Inhibitor D‐2570 in Healthy Subjects: A First‐in‐Human Phase I Study

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 19, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT D‐2570 selectively binds to the pseudokinase domain of tyrosine kinase 2, which mediates the downstream cytokine signaling pathways involved in immune regulation. The safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of D‐2570 were evaluated in a randomized, double‐blind, placebo‐controlled phase I study conducted in healthy Chinese

HDL function and composition in atherothrombotic cardiovascular disease with very high HDL‐C

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Clinical Investigation, Volume 56, Issue 1, January 2026.
We investigated 49 individuals (mean age: 62 ± 2 years, 83% female) with very high HDL‐C (>80 mg/dL), including 23 with ASCVD. Despite matched HDL‐C levels, functional and compositional HDL features differed between groups. CEC differences became evident only after tertile stratification, with ASCVD participants overrepresented in the lowest tertile ...
