Our study examined whether functional properties of the contralesional dopaminergic system relate to recovery after severe stroke. Resting‐state fMRI from 19 acute stroke patients and 19 controls was used to quantify ALFF and functional connectivity across nigrostriatal and mesocorticolimbic regions.
