Moderate Static Magnet Fields Suppress Ovarian Cancer Metastasis via ROS‐Mediated Oxidative Stress
Metastasis is the leading cause of cancer patient death, which is closely correlated with reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. It is well known that the effects of ROS on tumors are diverse, depending on ROS concentration and cell type. We found that ovarian cancer cells have significantly lower levels of ROS than normal ovarian cells.

Safety of hypomagnetic field and its effects on the skeletal system [PDF]
<p>&#160; &#160;&#160;All organisms survive and multiply under the geomagnetic magnetic field (GMF) [1]. With the launch of the Moon and Mars space program, during long-distance space mission, astronauts will inevitably be exposed to an environment with a hypomagnetic

Transcriptome profile of human neuroblastoma cells in the hypomagnetic field [PDF]
Research has shown that the hypomagnetic field (HMF) can affect embryo development, cell proliferation, learning and memory, and in vitro tubulin assembly. In the present study, we aimed to elucidate the molecular mechanism by which the HMF exerts its effect, by comparing the transcriptome profiles of human neuroblastoma cells exposed to either the HMF

Hypomagnetic field, an ignorable environmental factor in space? [PDF]
All living organisms on the earth have been exposed to the geomagnetic field (GMF, ~50 mT), a nature component of the habitability environment, throughout the evolutionary history. However, the environmental magnetic field (MF) in space decreases geometrically with the distance from the ground. The MF magnitude (|B|) at the International Space Station (

Hypomagnetic Fields and Their Multilevel Effects on Living Organisms
The Earth’s magnetic field is one of the basic abiotic factors in all environments, and organisms had to adapt to it during evolution. On some occasions, organisms can be confronted with a significant reduction in a magnetic field, termed a “hypomagnetic field—HMF”, for example, in buildings with steel reinforcement or during interplanetary flight ...

Mapping of static magnetic fields near the surface of mobile phones [PDF]
Whether the use of mobile phones (MP) represents a health hazard is still under debate. As part of the attempts to resolve this uncertainty, there has been an extensive characterization of the electromagnetic fields MP emit and receive.
