Giant hydronephrosis: A rare cause of secondary hypertension
Abstract Background Hypertension secondary to giant hydronephrosis (GH) is a rare but treatable renal condition mediated by the renin‐angiotensin‐aldosterone system and tubuloglomerular feedback. In adults, GH is often diagnosed late due to nonspecific abdominal symptoms that may not manifest until advanced stages.

Gastric dilatation and volvulus in a capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris, Linnaeus, 1766)
Abstract Gastric torsion has been described in several species, but this is the first documented case in a capybara. An entire, 6‐year‐old, female capybara was found dead in the indoor enclosure of the zoo in the morning. Pathological examinations revealed a large, bloated stomach upon opening the abdominal cavity.

Abstract A 3‐year‐old, male, entire, German wirehaired pointer dog was presented with a 2‐year history of paroxysmal episodes of collapse associated with reduced levels of consciousness. A magnetic resonance imaging study identified a single, ill‐defined, non‐contrast‐enhancing, intra‐axial mass lesion involving the hypothalamus.

Suspected congenital oesophageal stenosis in a cat
Abstract A 6‐week‐old, female, British shorthair cat was presented with a 4‐week history of regurgitation and a 2‐day history of cough and dyspnoea.
