Advanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.Photodynamic therapy (PDT) faces clinical challenges due to poor tumor targeting and systemic toxicity. Herein, a biomimetic C3N4‐RP@RBCm nanoplatform is developed via erythrocyte membrane encapsulation, enabling CD47‐mediated immune evasion and EPR‐driven tumor accumulation.

An Injection‐Molded Modified Silicone Rubber for Cancer‐on‐Chip Applications
Advanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.This study describes the characterization and application of an injection‐molded functionalized PDMS fluidic insert for the commercially available Micronit system. Modified PDMS can accommodate cell culture and is able to covalently bind proteins for long‐lasting coatings under flow‐conditions.

Non‐Invasive Diagnosis of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy by Breath
Advanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.The use of sensor technologies for the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) by identification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in breath samples. By combining gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) and electronic nose (eNose) platforms, specific VOC patterns associated with HCM are detected and analyzed.

Advanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.Hispidulin disrupts the KITENIN/ErbB4 oncogenic complex and inhibits KITENIN‐mediated AP‐1 activity, cell invasion, and aerobic glycolysis. It also suppresses the production of cancer‐associated metabolites and downregulates transcriptional regulators downstream of the KITENIN complex.

Self‐Adjusting Engineered Probiotic for Targeted Tumor Colonization and Local Therapeutics Delivery
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Zou et al. developed an engineered strain of Escherichia coli Nissle 1917 with precise targeting abilities for colonization and on‐demand payload release. The engineered probiotic survives and embolizes tumors only in the presence of more than 5 mM L‐lactate. Furthermore, the introduction of an α‐hemolysin circuit enhances its anti‐tumor effect.
