Magnetic‐Field Control of Surface States in CoFe2O4 Thin Films for Nitrate Electroreduction to Ammonia

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Influence of space-charge on hysteresis loop characteristics of ferroelectric thin films

open access: yes, 2008
Hysteresis loops of Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 (PZT) thin films obtained by using a Sawyer-Tower (ST) circuit are affected by many factors. This paper investigated the influence of space charge on the hysteresis loop of thin-film ferroelectrics, based on the model ...

Enhancement of Dielectric Breakdown Strength and Recoverable Energy Density in Three‐Dimensional Heterointerfaces on BaTiO3–PbZrO3–PbTiO3 Films via Room‐Temperature Nano‐Clustering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A room‐temperature aerosol deposition process yields multiphase nano‐clustered dielectric capacitors containing discrete BaTiO3, PbZrO3, and PbTiO3 crystals. This architecture creates three‐dimensional heterointerfaces that induce interfacial charge trapping and effectively inhibit breakdown propagation.

Research on the hysteresis properties of a pitching NACA0012 airfoil under low transonic ground effect

open access: yesKongqi donglixue xuebao
Based on an investigation of pitch oscillation encountered during electromagnetic-assisted near-ground takeoff of a NACA0012 airfoil, this study proposes a layering criterion for transonic static ground effects.

Semi-Empirical Prediction of Airfoil Hysteresis

open access: yesAerospace, 2016
A semi-empirical method is presented to estimate the angular excursion and the lift loss associated with static hysteresis on an airfoil. Wind tunnel data of various airfoils is used to define and validate the methodology. The resulting equation provides

A MODEL EXPERIMENT FOR TEACHING THE HYSTERESIS LOOP

open access: yes, 2015
Learning the formation of the hysteresis loop can help students to understand the ferromagnetic properties of materials. Also, studying the hysteresis loop gives a brief idea about the relationship between the magnetic flux density B, magnetic field ...

MXene Wrapped Magnetic Mesocrystals for Durable Redox Catalytic Cancer Therapy and Responsive MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conformal wrapping of ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets on Fe3O4 mesocrystals creates topology‐stabilized Schottky junctions that direct photoinduced electron transfer under NIR irradiation. The unique architecture sustains Fenton catalysis, promotes continuous hydroxyl radical production, and provides photo‐responsive MRI contrast.

Designing Stable Periodic Magnetization Textures by Tailoring Anisotropies and Applying Geometrical Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores the possibility to design stable periodic magnetization textures by transforming a 2D film into a rolled‐up 3D architecture and back. In case of an isotropic exchange‐biased layer architecture, the magnetization encoded in the 3D state evolves into a spin‐spiral pattern with controlled periodicity after unrolling.
