Experiments and finite-element-method analyses for mechanism of structural hysteresis of the vehicle body

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2018
In order to clarify the mechanism of the vehicle body hysteresis affecting “rigidity feeling”, one of the driver's sensory evaluation in the driving test, the influence of friction acting on spot welding flanges on hysteresis, which is drawn by the ...

On the Practical Evaluation of the Switching Loss in the Secondary Side Rectifiers of LLC Converters

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
The switching loss of the secondary side rectifiers in LLC resonant converters can have a noticeable impact on the overall efficiency of the complete power supply and constrain the upper limit of the optimum switching frequencies of the converter.

Electromagnetic phenomena and hysteresis losses in superconductors

open access: yesCryogenics, 1989
Abstract Hysteresis losses in superconductors are caused by irreversible motion of fluxoids. This motion is, in most cases, described by the critical state model. In this article, various electromagnetic phenomena due to flux pinning effects are reviewed and explanations of these phenomena are given using the critical state model. The phenomena which

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

Investigating the Effect of Inclination Angle and the Influence of Scan Parameters on the Appearance and Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Filigree Tension Rods of LPBF‐Manufactured NiTi Shape‐Memory Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article investigates the dependence of the properties on the manufacturing orientation in the form of the inclination angle to the build plate of LPBF‐fabricated NiTi rods with a diameter of 150–220 µm. Metallographic, chemical, thermal, and mechanical characterization show behavior under identical manufacturing conditions that ranges from ...

Dependence of hysteresis loss of immobilized magnetic nanoparticles on the easy-axis angle: Effect of easy-axis alignment

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) have been widely studied for hyperthermia applications. We studied the hysteresis loss of immobilized MNPs with partially aligned easy axes.

On the variation with flux and frequency of the core loss coefficients in electrical machines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A model of core losses, in which the hysteresis coefficients are variable with the frequency and induction (flux density) and the eddy-current and excess loss coefficients are variable only with the induction, is proposed. A procedure for identifying the
