Livingstone's fruit bat GPS tracks during day‐ and nighttime on Anjouan, Comoros, identifying likely feeding sites. Abstract The highly threatened Livingstone's fruit bat, Pteropus livingstonii, is endemic to only two islands of the Union of the Comoros, a country with some of the highest deforestation rates worldwide.

Red‐light flashing pens and seizures in children
Guidelines exist to limit seizure‐provoking visual stimuli. However, existing recommendations are not universally applied, and poorly regulated flickering lights are easily encountered in consumer products. Two girls experienced prolonged absence seizures triggered by a red‐light flickering pen.

Abstract Objective Absence epilepsy is characterized by brief but frequent seizures with loss of consciousness. Existing treatments, which come with heavy side effects, are only partially effective and do not address the associated comorbidities, including cognitive and social deficits.
