Evidence for an i13/2 neutron band in133Sm

Zeitschrift fr Physik A Atomic Nuclei, 1989
A rotational band of nine γ-rays has been observed in133Sm. The moment of inertia of the band indicates that it has a higher deformation than expected for states in nuclei in this region. The properties are such that it can be interpreted as being due to the odd neutron occupying the ν i2/13 nn intruder orbital.

The Imaging and Coherence Beamline I13 at Diamond

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011
The coherence and imaging beamline I13 is dedicated to hard x‐ray imaging on the micro‐ and nano‐lengthscale, performing microscopy either in direct or reciprocal space. For both, lens‐based and lensless imaging, two independent stations will be operated in a separate building at a distance of 250 m from the source.

I13 Can I be old with huntington’s disease (HD)?

Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry, 2016
Background When HD has been diagnosed within a family, the question of life expectancy is often central to the patient and family members. Few studies have investigated ageing in patients with HD, in spite of the importance of this information for the patients and their families.

Abstract I13: Modulating the immune response with epigenetic agents

Cancer Research, 2019
Abstract Epigenetic modulation offers the potential of altering key tumor-immune interactions to allow for more effective therapeutic targeting. Epigenetic abnormalities in cancer in the tumor-immune response will be discussed, as well as data that support the reversibility of these lesions with epigenetic modulators.
