Abstract I13: Modulating the immune response with epigenetic agents
Cancer Research, 2019Abstract Epigenetic modulation offers the potential of altering key tumor-immune interactions to allow for more effective therapeutic targeting. Epigenetic abnormalities in cancer in the tumor-immune response will be discussed, as well as data that support the reversibility of these lesions with epigenetic modulators.

I13 Laparoscopic Button Placement for Antegrade Enema
2013A colonic antegrade enema is proposed in cases of intractable faecal incontinence or major constipation with encopresis. This procedure allows for caecostomy button placement and a sigmoidostomy.

Background In Huntington’s disease (HD) increased variability is seen in performance of motor tasks that require implicit control of timing. We examined if timing variability was also evident in an explicit interval-timing task. Methods Sixty subjects (21 controls, 19 manifest HD and 20 pre-manifest HD) performed a single interval production task ...

I13 The pro-inflammatory activities of interleukin-6 are mediated by trans-signaling
Cytokine, 2012Cytokines and cytokine receptors exist in membrane bound and soluble form. Membrane bound cytokinesneed to cleaved in order to become systemically available. While most soluble receptors are antagonists, some areagonists like the soluble IL-6 receptors. In vivo, the IL-6/soluble IL-6R complex stimulates several types of target cells notstimulated by IL-

Shape co-existence and structural evolution of the i13/2 band in 157Yb
Science in China Series G, 2003The high-spin states of Yb-157 have been studied via the reaction of Sm-144(O-16, 3n) at O-16 energy of 90 MeV using techniques of in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy. Measurement of gamma-gamma-t coincidences was performed with 11 BGO(AC)HPGe detectors. Based on the gamma-gamma coincidence relationships and the measured results of gamma-ray anisotropies ...

The i13/2 proton intruder orbital and the identical superdeformed bands in 193, 194, 195Tl
The European Physical Journal A, 2004The microscopic mechanism of the identical bands in odd-odd nucleus Tl-194 and its neighbor odd-A nuclei Tl-193,Tl-195 is investigated using the particle-number-conserving (PNC) method for treating the cranked shell model with monopole and quadrupole pairing interactions.

Different collectivity in the two signatures of the i13/2 stemming band in ¹⁶⁷Yb [PDF]
Six lifetimes have been determined in the 5/2⁺ [642] band from vi13/2 parentage in ¹⁶⁷Yb by means of Recoil distance Doppler-shift (RDDS) measurements carried out at the Cologne FN tandem. The deduced transition strengths and the level scheme are reasonably described by Particle plus triaxial rotor model (PTRM) calculations except for the behavior of ...
