NFYB Integrates Hormonal Signals into Tissue Allometry by Promoting Protein Biosynthesis
In the American cockroach, NFYB acts as a spatiotemporin that translates distinct hormonal cues into tissue‐specific allometry. Juvenile hormone activates NFYB in the early fat body, while 20‐hydroxyecdysone induces it in late wing pads. NFYB then promotes protein biosynthesis via core translational machinery, driving differential growth across the ...

Asymmetric Multi‐Site Ion Exchange in Porous Carbon Electrodes
A lognormal‐distribution 2D EXSY NMR framework uncovers the full spectrum of ion dynamics in hierarchical porous carbons, bridging fast surface exchange and confined in‐pore transport—establishing structure–transport relationships for next‐generation energy storage, gas storage, and ion removal materials.

Compensatory Mutations in Predicted Metal Transporters Modulate Auxin Conjugate Responsiveness in Arabidopsis [PDF]
Levels of the phytohormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) can be altered by the formation and hydrolysis of IAA conjugates. The isolation and characterization of Arabidopsis thaliana mutants with reduced IAA-conjugate sensitivity and wild-type IAA responses ...

The impact of alloy fluctuations on the spin dynamics of mixed‐cation MAxFA1‐xPbI3 perovskite single crystals is studied experimentally by means of polarized time‐resolved photoluminescence. The high optical orientation degree, reaching 80% for x = 0.1 and 0.8, displays a minimum of 60% for x = 0.4.

The transition period in dairy cows, spanning 3 weeks before and after calving, is a critical phase characterized by increased nutrient demands, reduced dry matter intake (DMI), and elevated risk of metabolic disorders such as negative nutrient balance (NNB), lipolysis, proteolysis, and oxidative stress.

Developmental biology of wood formation [PDF]
The wood-forming vascular cambium is responsible for the production of a large part of the biomass on this planet. Yet, there is only limited knowledge on how cell proliferation and differentiation in the cambial meristem are regulated.

Abstract Situating the study within an ecological perspective on language education, this article examines how secondary schools in England present Modern Languages (MLs) on official school websites. Focusing on 44 schools in Local Authorities with the lowest percentage average entry for the Languages pillar of the EBacc, we built a text database ...
