L'AEROFOTOTECA NAZIONALE RACCONTA...Alla scoperta di cavití  sotterranee

open access: yesGEOmedia, 2019
L'Aerofototeca Nazionale (AFN) del MiBACT-ICCD conserva diversi milioni di foto aeree sull'intero territorio nazionale a partire dalla fine dell'Ottocento (http://www.iccd.beniculturali.it/aerofototeca/; http://www.censimento.fotografia.italia.it/archivi/

Large density amplification measured on jets ejected from a magnetized plasma gun [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Observation of a large density amplification in the collimating plasma jet ejected from a coplanar coaxial plasma gun is reported. The jet velocity is ~30 km s^-1 and the electron density increases from ~10^20 to 10^(22–23) m^-3.

Plasma modification of poly lactic acid solutions to generate high quality electrospun PLA nanofibers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Physical properties of pre-electrospinning polymer solutions play a key role in electrospinning as they strongly determine the morphology of the obtained electrospun nanofibers. In this work, an atmospheric-pressure argon plasma directly submerged in the

Visualization of the homogeneous charge compression ignition/controlled autoignition combustion process using two-dimensional planar laser-induced fluorescence imaging of formaldehyde [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The paper reports an investigation into the HCCI/CAI combustion process using the two-dimensional PLIF technique. The PLIF of formaldehyde formed during the low-temperature reactions of HCCI/CAI combustion was exciting by a tunable dye laser at 355nm ...

Autonomous absolute calibration of an ICCD camera in single-photon detection regime

open access: yes, 2016
Intensified charge coupled device (ICCD) cameras are widely used in various applications such as microscopy, astronomy, spectroscopy. Often they are used as single-photon detectors, with thresholding being an essential part of the readout. In this paper,

Demonstration of Dynamics of Nanosecond Discharge in Liquid Water Using Four-Channel Time-Resolved ICCD Microscopy

open access: yesPlasma, 2021
The microscopic physical mechanisms of micro-discharges produced in liquid waters by nanosecond high-voltage pulses are quite complex phenomena, and relevant coherent experimentally supported theoretical descriptions are yet to be provided. In this study,

Frontend frequency-voltage adaptation for optimal energy-delay/sup 2/ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper, we present a clustered, multiple-clock domain (CMCD) microarchitecture that combines the benefits of both clustering and globally asynchronous locally synchronous (GALS) designs.

Non-classical Signature of Parametric Fluorescence and its Application in Metrology

open access: yesMeasurement Science Review, 2014
The article provides a short theoretical background of what the non-classical light means. We applied the criterion for the existence of non-classical effects derived by C.T. Lee on parametric fluorescence.

Propagation dynamics of a room-temperature pulsed argon plasma plume through a simple dispersion-grating diagnostic method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, a novel grating-ICCD camera dispersion diagnostic method was designed to investigate the propagation behaviors of an open-air pulsed argon plasma plume.

Circularly Polarized Long‐Persistent and Photostimulated Luminescence Enabled through Förster Resonance Energy Transfer and Upconversion Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using chiral emitters with circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) characteristics integrated into organic long‐persistent luminescence (OLPL) system demonstrates circularly polarized long‐persistent luminescence (CP‐LPL). Importantly, the Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET)‐based design reveals circularly polarized photostimulated luminescence ...
