A plasma reactor dedicated to enhancing thin‐film deposition at atmospheric pressure was developed. It consisted of a SDBD unit housed within a 3D‐printed resin box and driven by a homemade µs‐pulse power supply. High‐resolution OES revealed six N I lines near 820 nm, clearly evidencing the nitrogen atoms production.

Experimental nonlocal steering of Bohmian trajectories
Interpretations of quantum mechanics (QM), or proposals for underlying theories, that attempt to present a definite realist picture, such as Bohmian mechanics, require strong non-local effects.

Resolution limits of quantum ghost imaging [PDF]
Quantum ghost imaging uses photon pairs produced from parametric downconversion to enable an alternative method of image acquisition. Information from either one of the photons does not yield an image, but an image can be obtained by harnessing the ...

Stoichiometry‐Controlled Cobalt Sulfide‐Based Hole Transport Layers for Perovskite Solar Cells
Stoichiometrically controlled cobalt sulfide compounds (CoS, Co9S8, and Co4S3) is synthesized by temperature‐controlled hot injection and applied as hole transporting layers (HTLs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). This approach enabled modulation of the valence band alignment without the need for extrinsic doping. A PSC employing a Co4S3‐based bilayer

Instabilities and soot formation in high-pressure, rich, iso-octane-air explosion flames - 1. Dynamical structure [PDF]
Simultaneous OH planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) and Rayleigh scattering measurements have been performed on 2-bar rich iso-octane–air explosion flames obtained in the optically accessible Leeds combustion bomb.

ABSTRACT The optical emission spectra (OES) reflect the presence of excited states in the gaseous discharge, which are directly linked to the decomposition characteristics of insulating gases. In this study, a pin/rod–plate discharge reactor driven by either a high‐voltage direct current (DC) generator or a pulsed generator was developed to establish ...

IN VOLO SUL TEVERE DA STIMIGLIANO A PONTE DEL GRILLO: “IL RITRATTO DEL TERRENO” DAL PALLONE (1908)
The paper describes time, modes and techniques of realization in 1908 of a photomosaic, from balloon, of a section of the course of the Tiber river. The photomosaic was carried out by the Brigata Mista Specialisti of Genio Militare headed by Captain ...

LEMUR: Large European Module for solar Ultraviolet Research. European contribution to JAXA's Solar-C mission [PDF]
Understanding the solar outer atmosphere requires concerted, simultaneous solar observations from the visible to the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and soft X-rays, at high spatial resolution (between 0.1" and 0.3"), at high temporal resolution (on the order ...

Investigating the Effects of Atomic Oxygen Cold Plasma Surface Cleaning on the Oil Paint
This study investigates a novel cleaning technique based on the use of atomic oxygen (AO) generated in atmospheric pressure plasma, with the focus on the systematic investigation of the impact of AO on sensitive organic substrates during the cleaning action, to explore the applicability and limitations of the technique.
