Blood Cell‐Camouflaged Liquid Metal Nanoconjugates Orchestrate Treg Depletion and STING‐Amplified Photothermal Immunity for Metastatic Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Whole‐blood biomimetic engineering transforms liquid metal nanoparticles into a tripartite immunotherapeutic platform that orchestrates regulatory T‐cell depletion, photothermal‐induced immunogenic cell death, and activation of the stimulator of interferon genes pathway.

Identifying priorities in methodological research using ICD-9-CM and ICD-10 administrative data: report from an international consortium

open access: yesBMC Health Services Research, 2006
Background Health administrative data are frequently used for health services and population health research. Comparative research using these data has been facilitated by the use of a standard system for coding diagnoses, the International ...

ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM codes for dementia.

open access: yes
BackgroundEvidence suggests that some infectious diseases, such as herpes zoster (HZ), are associated with elevated risk of subsequent dementia, while certain anti-viral medications are associated with lower risk.

An Avalanche Effect Nanomodulator Triggers Cascade Ferroptosis/Cuproptosis for Immunosuppressive Microenvironment Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nanomodulator called L‐Arginine/lificiguat@Copper‐hollow Prussian blue@Calcium phosphate nanoparticles is constructed to launch a self‐amplifying “avalanche effect” in tumor cells. The ensuing cascade, triggered by the acidic tumor microenvironment and near‐infrared light, induces calcium overload, generates a reactive oxygen species and reactive ...

Iron‐Tannic Acid Hydrogel Mediated Mild Photothermal Therapy Combined With Ferroptosis Enhances Anti‐Tumor Immunity in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An injectable gelatin‐based tannic acid–iron hydrogel with mild photothermal therapy could not only induce immunogenic cell death, but also elicit ferroptosis of both tumor cells and tumor‐associated macrophages, resulting in DC maturation, T‐cell infiltration and down‐regulation of ferroptosis‐sensitive M2‐type TAMs levels.

An Intravesical Akkermansia muciniphila‐Based Chemo‐Immunotherapeutic Platform for Bladder Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pasteurized Akkermansia muciniphila is engineered into an intravesical F127/doxorubicin platform that couples localized chemotherapy with immune remodeling. By inducing apoptosis, ferroptosis, and immunogenic cell death, this chemo‐immunotherapeutic system enhances dendritic‐cell maturation, antigen cross‐presentation, and tumor‐specific CD8+ T‐cell ...

Overcoming Drug Resistance by Paclitaxel Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the murine triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) model, chemotherapy effectively increases tumor neoantigen burden (TNB). Here, the study constructs a liposomal nanovaccine using antigens derived from in vitro chemotherapy‐treated paclitaxel‐resistant TNBC 4T1 cells.

Developing and Evaluating Mappings of ICD-10 and ICD-10-CM Codes to Phecodes

open access: yes, 2020
The phecode system was built upon the ICD-9-CM for PheWAS using the EHR. In this study, we developed and performed an initial evaluation of maps from ICD-10 and the ICD-10-CM codes to phecodes.
