Tidal deflection of Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica, observed by Sentinel-1A double-differential interferometric SAR

2017 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), 2017
This paper reports the tidal deflection of Ross Ice Shelf, Antarctica, observed from Sentinel-1A data processed by using double-differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DDInSAR) technique. Sentinel-1A single look complex SAR data of 2015–2016, along the east and the west coast of Ross Ice Shelf, were obtained and interferometrically ...

A fine-line nMOS IC for raster-scan control of a 500-MHz electron-beam deflection system

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1982
A 700-transistor fine-line nMOS chip was developed for the deflection control in a 500-MHz electron-beam deflection system. This circuit produces a differential output carrier staircase into a 25-Ω load with a programmable offset from a 5-bit D/A converter.

Unsteady deflection of ice cover in a frozen channel under a moving load

Control-Surface Deflection Effects on the Innovative Control Effectors (ICE 101) Design

2000
Abstract : A static wind tunnel test of the Innovative Controls Effectors (ICE 101) conceptual aircraft configuration was conducted in the Air Force Research Laboratory's Vertical Wind Tunnel. This entry characterized the increments to the aerodynamic loading provided by the various control surfaces while using a more finely-resolved test matrix in ...

Deflection of Nonperiodic Ice Sheet Due to Wave Interaction in the Presence of Current

Journal of Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering
Abstract A two-dimensional mathematical model for wave scattering induced by the interaction of a wave with a nonperiodic variable ice sheet with the inclusion of current is presented, primarily focusing on the ice sheet deflection arising from this interaction. The perturbation approach is initially used to solve the associated boundary

Failure Criterion for Moisture-Sensitive Plastic Packages of Integrated Circuit (IC) Devices: Application and Extension of the Theory of Thin Plates of Large Deflections

2010
The maximum value of the von Mises stress in the molding compound at the chip corner is suggested to be used as a suitable failure criterion for moisture-induced plastic packages of integrated circuit (IC) devices. This criterion is able to reflect the role of various geometric and material characteristics affecting the package propensity to moisture ...
