Enhancing Stability of Few‐Layer Black Phosphorus (FLBP) Through Nitrocellulose Coating: A Robust Defense Mechanism Against Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
In this research, a simple and scalable strategy for protection of a few‐layer black phosphorus (FLBP) with a cellulose nitrate‐based material is presented. The FLBP is structurally and morphologically characterized. The FLBP stability with and without nitrocellulose protection is monitored by interferometric method, surface profile examination, and ...

Sensitivity Analysis of Linear Programming and Quadratic Programming Algorithms for Control Allocation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The Next Generation (NextGen) transport aircraft configurations being investigated as part of the NASA Aeronautics Subsonic Fixed Wing Project have more control surfaces, or control effectors, than existing transport aircraft configurations. Conventional

A Reusable Polymeric Sensor Based on Green‐Synthesized CQDs@ZIF‐8 for the Rapid Detection of Nitro‐Explosive Picric Acid

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study presents the rational design and synthesis of a highly luminescent polymeric nanocomposite. Initially, highly fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) are synthesized via a facile hydrothermal method using citric acid and β‐alanine as precursors, followed by rigorous purification through centrifugation and filtration.

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

Tunable 3D‐Printed Static Mixers for Gradient Bioprinting With High Cell Viability

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The fabrication of native tissue‐like structures with gradual transitions in material properties, cell types, and growth factors remains a major challenge in biofabrication due to the lack of suitable methods. Mimicking the hierarchical organization of living tissues is essential for functional models, yet creating gradient, multimaterial ...

Search for ultra high energy cosmic rays from radiogalaxy Virgo A

open access: yes, 2019
Active galactic nuclei (AGNs) are considered to be one of the most appropriate sources of ultra high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs, $E \gtrsim 10^{18} \mathrm{~eV}$). Radiogalaxy Virgo A (M87) in the centre of a cluster of galaxies Virgo Cluster (VC) can be

Direct Laser Writing of Magnetic Micro Actuators With a Stimulus‐Responsive Compliant Hinge

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study presents a versatile modular design strategy for adaptive 3D microactuators. Using two‐photon‐induced C,H insertion reactions within solid polymer layers, chemically distinct hinge and stimulus responsive materials are patterned in one step. The hinge's properties enable tunable motion, mechanical control, and reconfigurable actuation across
