Relative sea-level rise around East Antarctica during Oligocene glaciation [PDF]
During the middle and late Eocene (∼48-34 Myr ago), the Earth's climate cooled and an ice sheet built up on Antarctica. The stepwise expansion of ice on Antarcticainduced crustal deformation and gravitational perturbations around the continent.

Harnessing the synergistic interplay of supramolecular self‐assembly, under macromolecular crowding conditions, and enzymatic‐mediated covalent crosslinking toward a stable protein‐based G‐quadruplex‐derived supramolecular bioink. This bioinspired strategy enables the biofabrication of complex and tunable ECM‐mimetic constructs, providing a platform ...

Recent observations show that the ice sheet in the Shirase Glacier drainage basin, East Antarctica, is thinning. If the observed thinning is assumed to be a transitional process in which the ice sheet is adjusting to the present climate, an equilibrium ...

A note on digital elevation model smoothing and driving stresses
Ice-flow fields, including the driving stress, provide important information on the current state and evolution of Antarctic and Greenland ice-sheet dynamics.

Combustion of available fossil-fuel resources sufficient to eliminate the Antarctic Ice Sheet [PDF]
The Antarctic Ice Sheet stores water equivalent to 58 m in global sea-level rise. We show in simulations using the Parallel Ice Sheet Model that burning the currently attainable fossil fuel resources is sufficient to eliminate the ice sheet.

Precursor carbon stoichiometry programs internal strain and oxygen substitution in Ti3AlCxO2‐x, deterministically switching Ti3CxO2‐xTz MXenes between highly aligned 2D nanosheets and spontaneous 1D nanoscrolls. This synthesis‐stage architecture control enables ultrathin X/W‐band EMI shielding with outstanding mass‐normalized performance and bending ...

Hysteresis of the Antarctic Ice Sheet With a Coupled Climate‐Ice‐Sheet Model
The stability of the Antarctic ice sheet under different fixed CO2 levels and orbital configurations is explored using a coupled climate‐ice sheet model, starting from either a pre‐industrial ice sheet or an ice‐free, isostatically rebounded geometry ...

Thin Ice Target for $^{16}$O(p,p') experiment
A windowless and self-supporting ice target is described. An ice sheet with a thickness of 29.7 mg/cm$^2$ cooled by liquid nitrogen was placed at the target position of a magnetic spectrometer and worked stably in the $^{16}$O$(p,p')$ experiment at $E_{p}
