A new ichnotaxon, Artichnus giberti isp. nov., is described in the marine Middle Miocene (Serravallian) of the El Camp the Tarragona Basin, north-eastern Spain. It is a mostly horizontal and rectilinear, tubular burrow with laminated lining.
