Self-Similarity and Heavy-Tail of ICMP Traffic

open access: yesJournal of Computers, 2012
In the last two decades, an enormous increase in empirical studies from the view of different network layer and from a variety of different networks has been seen. However ICMP traffic of Internet is ignored all along. In view of this, the contribution of this paper aims at filling such a gap in studying self-similarity and heavy-tail in ICMP traffic ...

What Are the Factors to Consider When Establishing and Navigating Boundaries Across Diverse Cultures? An Integrative Review

open access: yesCounselling and Psychotherapy Research, Volume 26, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic boundaries refer to the limits governing a therapeutic relationship. Although mental health services strive for culturally sensitive practices, how boundaries are understood and managed across cultures is often overlooked. Aim This review explored key factors related to therapeutic boundaries when working with culturally

Assessing Right Ventricular Dysfunction in Ischemic and Nonischemic Cardiomyopathy with Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction (<35%): Insights from Two-dimensional Echocardiography

open access: yesJournal of the Practice of Cardiovascular Sciences
Background:Ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICMP) and Dilated cardiomyopathies (DCMP) impair right ventricular (RV) function through distinct mechanisms, yet comparative data remain limited. This study evaluated and compared RV function in ICMP and DCMP patients

Lachnaceae (Helotiales, Leotiomycetes) of New Zealand—An Introduction

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Botany, Volume 64, Issue 2, June 2026.
This is the first of a planned series of articles on the taxonomy and diversity of Lachnaceae (Leotiomycetes, Helotiales) of New Zealand. Based largely on specimens from the New Zealand Fungarium (Te Kohinga Hekaheka o Aotearoa) (PDD) that have DNA sequences available, this paper provides a brief survey of the New Zealand species present in each of the
