ICO Analysts

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2020
Freelancing human experts play an important role in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Expert ratings partially reflect the reciprocal network of ICO members and analysts. Ratings predict ICO success, but highly imperfectly so. Favorably rated ICOs tend to fail when more ratings reciprocate prior ratings.

ICOS

Proceedings of the 19th Workshop on Computer Architecture Education, 2017
We present ICOS, a platform for running code on a CPU's "bare metal" (i.e., without a traditional operating system). Our Computer Architecture students use ICOS to carefully time code in order to observe the performance effects of a CPU's branch predictor and superscalar design.

The ICOS synthesis environment

1998
This paper presents an overview of the ICOS system, a design environment for control-dominated reactive systems, which is based on a graphical specification language called real-time symbolic timing diagrams. ICOS offers a broad set of tools to create, verify, and to synthesize hardware or software code from timing diagram specifications.

Satellite PCN—the ICO system

International Journal of Satellite Communications, 1999
The ICO system is designed to provide global access to telecommunication services via a constellation of satellites in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) and a ground segment referred to as the ICONET. The system integrates with terrestrial networks to provide terrestrial cellular-like services.
